In particular Bill has, over the last two years, facilitated Adeo's growth within the Rail sector. Additionally, he is a highly motivated individual and extremely client focussed. He has worked for over 15 years within the Commercial and Residential Development sector gaining a thorough understanding and appreciation of this market.

A Chartered Marketeer with a career centred on the construction industry which has been focused on business development, sales and marketing, client care and key account management, with additional advertising, brand management, corporate identity, market research, public relations and press launch expertise.

Industry wide experience of over 30 years has included a multinational civil engineering design consultancy, a civil engineering and specialist surfacing contractor, a house builder, property developer and a construction products manufacturer.

MARK BATTEN Bsc. MRICS

PRE-CONTRACT DIRECTOR

A Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 25 years experience in both Professional QS and contracting environments who has managed and successfully completed demanding projects for major blue chip Clients within Public, Educational, Health, Residential, Transportation and Commercial sectors.

An extremely competent cost manager who gets intimately involved at the inception of construction projects. He specialises in pre-contract, ranging from the production of fully detailed SMM7/CESMM bills of quantities, producing feasibility studies, cost plans and initial funding reports through the pre-contract stages of tender document preparation, contract negotiation and final award. He has a comprehensive understanding of the JCT and NEC suite of contracts and procurement routes.and utilises his experience gained on multi-phased projects, working in occupied building, listed buildings and restricted sites.

POST-CONTRACT DIRECTOR

With over 25 years experience within the construction sector, Kevin has provided commercial guidance across the whole spectrum of the construction industry, from small refurbishment schemes up to multi-million pound major contractor developments. He has a detailed knowledge of procurement and contract tendering utilising both JCT minor works suites and NEC Government Contract documentation. Kevin has an innate ability to quickly assimilate complex situations and understands how to resolve disputes to establish clear solutions to positive outcomes.

ANNA WALKER

HR AND CLIENT LIAISON MANAGER

Anna has over 15 years Recruitment and HR experience and joined the company in 2005 specifically to source and recruit first class Quantity Surveyors into the Adeo teams. She is an excellent communicator and able to form strong and lasting relationships with clients as she quickly grasps their needs for a project, be it in the UK or overseas. Anna has specialised in headhunting and search and select on an international level for high profile blue chip clients and in recent years with Adeo, has worked with major national and international companies sourcing Planners, Estimators, Contract Managers, Health & Safety and QA/QC Managers for projects outside of the UK.
