ADEO Construction Services are expanding, and  have an opening for:

 

Role: Senior Estimator
Location: Gatwick
Industry: Construction

Working within infrastructure on a large scale, the job will be to provide early stage estimates to project sponsors, support the project team where required with sourcing or producing independent cost assessments of major scope changes.  Provide project teams with external benchmark data graphs  based on data provided by Commercial Framework Consultants.  Ensuring like for like comparisons, conduct assurance of estimates to external benchmarks and previous project cost information. Sourcing or producing independent cost assessments of  major scope changes. Providing training to the Construction Team and other stakeholders as  required for the estimating processes and procedures. Collate, compare, assess and analyse data  on completed projects, liaise with the Commercial Framework Consultants for independent  estimating services such as external benchmarks, estimates and reviews.

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree Level or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar construction related
field.
Membership of a professional cost organisation such as RICS.
Experience of at least 3 years with projects in excess of £1 million.
Experience in all aspects of cost estimation, using best practice techniques in the construction industry, and good knowledge of construction techniques
